Sustaining Momentum in Pharmacy and Nursing- Post-live BPOC
We are 8 weeks into eMAR/BMV (meditech magic 5.5). Since going live, our percentages of scanned meds and scanned patients have steadily declined. Since we have no good baseline data, we are not sure what our baseline will be, but the steady decline is concerning.
Has anyone come up with some creative ideas for sustaining momentum in nursing and pharmacy in the post-live environment? We are exploring using a unit report card and possibly a nursing specific report card to share this information. Any other ideas? Anyone else encountering these problems? Have you been able to pinpoint an area or two for improvement?
We know we have staff that are using the "emergency" documenation feature for regular patients, but are wondering if we might be missing another dynamic.
Thanks
