Having problems with your bar-coded medications?

Are you providing medications for bar-coded medication administration
in your institution? ASHP wants to gather information about the
medications that you have to re-label or re-package because the manufacturer's bar-code does not work or is not present. A short on-line reporting form has been developed for gathering information. These reports will assist ASHP in learning about the extent of bar code medication packaging issues and facilitating communication to manufacturers, federal agencies, and advocacy groups to improve patient safety.
