Does anyone out there have experience with both scanners and imaging readers that has noticed a difference in comparative read speeds? While imagers, unlike scaners can read the complex 2-D coldes like DataMatrix as well as simple linear barcodes, I've heard that scanners can read the barcodes faster than imagers. Is there any difference in your experience? Is the difference significant?
