Carol Long: Workflow for Bar-Code Scanning in Radiology Area

We have bedside bar-code scanning in all inpatient (bedded) areas, and are currently struggling with the logistics of implementing in Radiology areas. How have others overcome the challenges of scanning the patient and the drug when the contrast must be kept in a warmer, often placed in auto-injector before patient arrives, and computer can not be taken in to MRI room?
