BPOC: not just for meds anymore. Any new or emerging applications of BPOC?

I am reseaching a chapter for an upcoming HIMSS Bar Coding Implementation Guide on "other applications." I would love to hear from anyone who is using bar coding to improve the safety of processes other than med admin, specimen collection, or transfusion verification. This improvement could be accomplished through a specialized application or a "tweaking" of a med admin system.
