HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Cerner hospital using Handheld products tethered scanners (SR IT4600) and pocket pc's (HHP Dolphin 9600 - FCC ID HD595003). I am having problems with the Bedford lab propofol. The barcodes on the vials now have the expiration date and lot # embedded in them. I am not able to link the barcode to the patient's profile (using Multum database) when scanned at the bedside it is not able to find the product. We are not able to scan the 100ml bottle with the tethered scanner at all. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do?
