Bar Coding Medications

We are preparing to initiate an electronic MAR (MAK by Siemens Medical Solutions).

We are having problems with getting bar codes onto the respiratory unit dose solutions (those small clear plastic ampules) and topical ointments in a way that they will stay on and still have the needed labeling show.
Our greatest challenge is with items like Xopenox and Pulmozyme that are only available in multi unit foil pouches that have short expiration dates once the pouch is opened.
Our primary method of distribution, even for respiratory medications is Pyxis Medstations.
We need a way to bar-code thi unit of use and still not have the medication go outdated in the Medstation.

We are able to barcode the rest of our products using several methods.
