Bar Code printer for wristband media

Last year we purchased the Zebra 2844
for our outpatient areas that produce ~300 bands per clinic per day. We have a linear barcode (for legacy barcode systems) and a data matrix bar code on the band. We plan to upgrade to Aztec now that the Zebra supports it.
Although the initial setup/calibration was tricky we are really happy with these printers. Direct Thermal is the way to go. Zebra's support has been great and the tools they provide IS to monitor the printers has proven useful (zebranet)
